I am a postdoctoral teaching fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University. My research interests are in International Relations of South Asia, political violence, US counterterrorism policy, al-Qaida, and social media and politics. Some of my research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, such as International Security, International Studies Quarterly, and Security Studies. My commentary has appeared in Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, H-Diplo, Lawfare, Political Violence at a Glance, Politico, and Washington Post Monkey Cage.
